Learn the art of

making hot chocolate

directly from cacao beans

in this hands-on experience.

Using whole cacao beans & nibs,

you'll explore traditional methods and recipes

from around the world in preparing rich,

flavorful hot chocolate,

while discovering the journey of

cacao beans from plant to cup.

​

Participants will grind, melt

(using a cast iron melting pot & pestle),

and sweeten cacao bean nibs to create unique

and delicious cups of hot chocolate.

 

Experience hot chocolate flavors

from Paris-France, Vietnam

& Istanbul-Turkey,

where Stu & Michele recently went

on a food and spice tour.


Dairy and non-dairy options will be available.

 

Student's will learn how to:

  • Shuck cacao beans

  • Make a cacao paste

  • Toast & grind spices perfectly

  • Use a variety of spices, sweeteners, and milks

  • Make & enjoy a variety of Hot Chocolate recipes from around the world

  • Helpful Tips & Tricks in the kitchen along the way
