Learn the art of
making hot chocolate
directly from cacao beans
in this hands-on experience.
Using whole cacao beans & nibs,
you'll explore traditional methods and recipes
from around the world in preparing rich,
flavorful hot chocolate,
while discovering the journey of
cacao beans from plant to cup.
​
Participants will grind, melt
(using a cast iron melting pot & pestle),
and sweeten cacao bean nibs to create unique
and delicious mini cups of hot chocolate.
Experience hot chocolate flavors
from Paris-France, Vietnam,
Mexico &
Istanbul-Turkey,
where Stu & Michele went
on a food and spice tour.
Dairy and non-dairy options available.
Student's will learn how to:

Shuck cacao beans

Hand conching and "melt" cacao

Toast & grind spices perfectly to go with each recipe

Use a variety of spices, sweeteners, and milks

Make & enjoy a variety of Hot Chocolate recipes from around the world
